Cervino Marketing collects key metrics (online marketing data) from online marketing platforms on behalf of reporting and analysis.
The Cervinodata application (app.cervinodata.com ) collects the key data from multiple online marketing platforms like:
- Google Ads
- Facebook Ads
- Adform
- Bing Ads
- Twitter Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- Snapchat
- Google Analytics
- Google Display & Video 360
- Google Campaign Manager 360
- Google Search Ads 360
Relational database & generic data model
The collected data is stored in a database based on a generic data model. This makes data from one or more organisations and / or platforms available on client-, platform-, account-, campaign- and ad group level. See here what's in the data model
Cervinodata data collection
When the Cervinodata engine is activated, there is a one time data collection process for the history of all the relevant clients and accounts, starting on a relevant historic date (like January 1st last year). This data is then stored in the Cervinodata database. Once the history is collected, data is added every day on an ongoing basis.
Accounts switched ON
The data collection is only performed for accounts that are ON at the time the Cervinodata engine starts the data collection process.
Automatic data collection multiple times a day
To make sure that a sync to BigQuery includes a complete set of data, the Cervinodata engine collects the data multiple times a day. This way, there is less chance of a temporary api interruption causing missing data.
Manual data collection initiation
The data collection can also be triggered manually. You can manually start the data collection process if you want. More on that can be found in this support article: Manually refreshing data
Automatic sync to BigQuery
To allow for more data control and analysis possibilities, we have created a syncing method with Google Big Query, where Cervinodata’s generic data model is continuously synced with an identical data model in GBG. the user can then create their own queries in GBQ and create custom tables for further analysis or reporting (in Looker Studio or Klipfolio or other platforms that connect to BigQuery).
If you want to know how the Backup and Sync in BigQuery works, read more here.
Manual sync to BigQuery
Cervinodata automatically syncs data to BigQuery every early morning (see how that works here). It is possible to manually sync new data to BigQuery. More on manually syncing data to your BigQuery project can be found here: Manually refreshing data.
